Forehead & eyes measurement
Orbital Vector
Front-to-back relationship between the cheek (malar eminence) and the front of the eye (corneal apex). Positive: the cheek projects in front of the eye, giving good under-eye support. Negative: the eye sits in front of the cheek.

How it is measured
(Cheek − Cornea) along the Frankfort horizontal
- Cor Corneal apex — The most forward point of the eyeball — the front of the cornea.
- Ch Cheek point (malar) — The most forward point of the cheek directly below the eye, over the cheekbone.
Ideal range and tiers
Each value falls into a tier (T1 = ideal). Comfortably inside T1 the rating is 10, easing to 9.5 at the edges of the ideal range; beyond it the rating falls with the deviation — fastest in the first tiers outside the ideal — down to −10 (below 0 where the original tier sheet takes points away) at the far end of the worst tier.
| Tier | Range | Rating |
|---|---|---|
| T1 Strongly positive | > 2.0 mm | 9.5–10 |
| T2 Positive | 0.5–2.0 mm | 6.7–9.5 |
| T3 Neutral | −0.5 to 0.5 mm | 4.3–6.7 |
| T4 Negative | −3.0 to −0.5 mm | −5 to 4.3 |
| T5 Strongly negative | < −3.0 mm | −10 to −5 |
